We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email address), payment information processed securely by Stripe, infrastructure configuration files you upload to generate documentation, and usage data (number of docs generated, doc types selected).
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, welcome emails, usage alerts), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Infrastructure files and configuration data you upload are used solely to generate documentation. We do not store your uploaded files after processing. We do not use your uploaded content to train AI models. Generated documentation is stored in your account history for re-download.
We use the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication and user management), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI documentation generation), Upstash (data storage), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling.
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure API key handling, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Account information is retained for the duration of your account. Doc history is retained for up to 12 months. Usage counters reset monthly. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@thothops.dev.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may export your doc history from your dashboard. To request account deletion or a data export, contact us at support@thothops.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management via Clerk. We use analytics cookies via Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@thothops.dev.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
